Did you know? Japan’s latest fashion trend — bagel heads!

Technicians inject 400 cc of saline in a person’s forehead to create a forehead-sized blob and then places his thumb into the blob creating an indentation — and you have a bagel!
While Botox may be a norm in some parts of the world, in others it’s a whole new injection game altogether — saline bagel-shaped injections into the forehead. This bizarre beauty treatment has apparently become a keen part of Japan’s body modification art scene.

“People who like extreme body modification are always looking for new ways and experimenting,” Keroppy (Japanese artist) told Vice, according to the Huffington Post.
Luckily these injections don’t have permanent effects — the round shape fades after about 16 hours as your body begins to absorb the salty fluid. However, what we don’t understand, is why in the world would anyone want a “bagel” on, or to be more precise “in” their heads?
