Mona Liza MAGICAL MAKE-OVER

COVER STORY
In today's fast-paced life, the quest for perfection has driven young girls to the alluring world of cosmetics. Everyone craves for flawless skin and impeccable appearance and they are ready to go to any length to enhance their natural beauty with magical make-overs.
Make-up can work wonders to uplift your facial features and give you that chic look that you always desired. Eyes are said to be the windows to the soul. Choosing the perfect eye-shadow is essential for accentuating your overall look. Apply a flicker of smoky eye-shadow on your eyes if you wish to make them more prominent. If you're not too fond of kohl, then a mesmerizing blend of turquoise and silver shimmer will elevate the oomph factor to your overall look. It's hard to resist the temptation of applying bright lipshades, but make-up experts recommend that a soft and subdued look exudes a lot more charisma than a heavily made-up pastry-type look would. The hottest lip shades for the summers would be the transparent nude shades for day wear in light brown, pink and lilac and shimmery lip tints for the evening. Pretty pinks in shades of rose and fuchsia suit most complexions as they highlight the glamour quotient of the face. Reds are making a daring comeback by igniting a fiery look for those who yearn to look drop-dead gorgeous. Conventionally, shades of red can make you look like a glam doll if worn with an elegant black dress at a night party. Matte lipshades like peach and apricot work well with women of Caucasian complexion and shades of nude brown, berry, copper and orchid are simply gorgeous for brown complexions.

Men Winter Collections | Dress For Success

Denim Directory
Gone are the days when a single pair of stonewashed jeans went with everything. Deep wardrobes need diverse denim and that mean cut as well as colour. From slim jeans to faded favourites, here is our guide for what to buy and how to wear it.

1. Indigo
Purists will tell you that the finest jeans are raw, crisp and completely unwashed. They're right but they're uncompromising. Softened indigo jeans achieve the same aesthetic without the stiffness, and both look brilliant with warm colours.
Style Tip: Double the turn-up on raw jeans for a crisp contrast between the dark indigo and the un-dyed denim below.
2. Grey
Black shoes and blue jeans can be a bit of a bruising combination, but vintage-wash grey denim perfectly offsets a pair of boots and a leather jacket for the ideal gig-going outfit.
Style Tip: Some denim looks a bit foolish when you belt it – but good grey jeans are beautiful when buckled.
3. Slim
With skinny jeans back in fashion, courtesy Hollywood stars, it is the ideal cut for men who don't want their blood supply cut off to their feet.
Style Tip: The blazer and jeans combo has become the menswear cliché of the millennium.
Breathe fresh life into it with darker denim for a seamless, almost suit-like look.
4. Faded
With much distressed denim acceptable only for extrovert teenagers, opting for dirty washed jeans is the best way to get that scruffed-up, lived-in feel without the obvious scars of artificial ageing.
Style Tip: Faded jeans suit a loose, woodsman kind of cut and look great with interesting textures. Pair it with anything from graphical t-shirts from Zainab Market and Dolmen to chic custom made shirts from Zamzama.
